MalaysiaKini stands by Raub gold mine reports, court told


KUALA LUMPUR: MalaysiaKini stands by its articles on the Raub gold mine controversy, even though it lacked a scientific basis or confirmation by regulatory bodies, its editor-in-chief told the High Court here.

Steven Gan, in testifying in Raub Austra­lian Gold Mining Sdn Bhd’s defamation suit against MKini Dotcom Sdn Bhd, said the publisher trusted the statements made by the residents of Bukit Koman, Raub.
