ALOR SETAR: A fisherman made the right call when he decided to phone his employer moments before the wooden trawler he was on started sinking two nautical miles from Kuala Jerlun here.

Mohd Jaafar Saad, 49, said he and two others, boat captain Adnan Zainol, 48, and Muhammad Abdullah, in his 50s, had set out to sea on Saturday evening on a fishing trip.
