PETALING JAYA: PAS can only pull the seats from under its renegade leaders if the lawmakers have earlier signed an agreement to relinquish the seats in the event they leave the party, said a political analyst.
Otherwise, PAS can forget about asking the estranged leaders – who will launch Gerakan Harapan Baru in September – to give up their seats and return it to the party, said Prof Datuk Mohamed Mustafa Ishak.
