FORMER Sri Lanka president Mahinda Rajapakse is in the limelight once again for an act of violence, attacking his own party supporter during an election campaign stop, Malaysia Nanban reported.

Rajapakse is contesting in the parliamentary elections to become prime minister for a second time. He was ousted as Sri Lankan president earlier this year by Maithripala Sirisena, who won by a landslide.
