KOTA BARU: Any PAS state assemblyman that leaves the party without giving up posts won on a PAS ticket will effectively be divorcing their spouses, says Kelantan PAS commissioner Datuk Ahmad Yakob (pic).
Ahmad, who is also Kelantan Mentri Besar, said this was due to a baiah (oath of loyalty) taken by PAS elected representatives since 2004, taken before the late Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, who was also the PAS Kelantan commissioner and spiritual leader.
