KUCHING: A one-day sitting of the state assembly next month could indicate that an early state election is on the way.
Speaker Datuk Amar Mohd Asfia Awang Nassar said the sitting on Aug 17 was called to fulfil a constitutional requirement that the assembly must meet within six months of the last meeting.
