PETALING JAYA: Mohd Ali Baharom (pic), detained in relation to the Low Yat Plaza brawl, is an ex-army man who gained notoriety after performing a "butt exercise" protest in front of lawyer S. Ambiga's house in 2012.
The 44-year-old, who is also known as Ali Tinju, together with several other former army personnel, staged the protest in response to the Bersih 3 rally.
