MIC leader urges cops to probe whistleblowers


PETALING JAYA: An MIC youth leader has called on the police to launch a probe on the Bank Negara officials who allegedly leaked confidential information on the 1MDB leading to the report by The Wall Street Journal last week.

Bukit Bintang MIC division Youth chief Nihal Nissanka said he lodged the police report here yesterday based on two news portal reports, which had named three individuals for apparently leaking confidential information from the bank.
