JOHOR BARU: Six shopkeepers were fined a total of RM17,000 by a magistrate’s court for possession of smuggled cigarettes at their premises.
Owner Mohammad Teo Kai Seng Abdullah, 41, and his Indonesian worker were fined RM4,000 each after they admitted to possession of 200 packs of illegal cigarettes worth RM350.96 at their mini-market near Kawasan Perindustrian Pandan on June 30.
