TAPAH: Three policemen were injured after their patrol cars crashed while pursuing a suspect at
KM68.5 of Jalan Ipoh-Kuala Lumpur in Bidor.

It is learnt that a suspect had escaped a roadblock and the policemen gave chase.

Another police car from the opposite direction tried to block the suspect's car by parking in the middle of the road.

The suspect managed to evade the car and escape. The police car that was chasing the suspect could not avoid his colleague's car and crashed into it near the Bidor mosque at 1am.

The impact sent both cars off the road, with one crashing into a post.

The injured policemen were taken to the hospital by passers-by.
