PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has started a thorough investigation into dealings involving energy company SRC International Sdn Bhd, which is embroiled in the 1MDB controversy.
Its deputy commissioner (operations) Datuk Seri Mohd Shukri Abdull said that based on media reports, the commission looked at the issues over investments by SRC International and found there were elements raised under jurisdiction of the commission.
