MACC finds basis to probe energy company


PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has started a thorough investigation into dealings involving energy company SRC Inter­national Sdn Bhd, which is embroiled in the 1MDB controversy.

Its deputy commissioner (operations) Datuk Seri Mohd Shukri Ab­­dull said that based on media reports, the commission looked at the issues over investments by SRC Interna­tional and found there were elements raised under jurisdiction of the commission.
