Selangor introduces fast-track, six-hour divorce process for Muslims


SHAH ALAM: The Selangor Syariah Judiciary Department (Jakess) has introduced a fast-track divorce process for Muslim couples who have mutually agreed to dissolve their marriage.

Selangor Syariah Chief Judge Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar said the process would take only about six hours, down from three months previously.
