Umno supreme council member says he asked for polls deferment, not Najib


SEREMBAN: Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan (pic) says it was he who tabled a motion to defer Umno polls during last Friday's meeting, and not Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak as speculated.

Mohamad, who is also Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar, said he had to reveal this following claims it was a ploy by the Umno president to strengthen his position.
