IGP: News portals may be summoned over 1MDB reports


PUTRAJAYA: Police may summon the financial daily The Edge and the news portal Sarawak Report over their articles on 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), says Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar (pic).

“We will call anybody for investigation if there is a necessity,” he said after attending the soft launch of the General Police and Special Equipment exhibition and Conference (GPEC) Asia 2015 here on Monday by Deputy Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Fauzi.
