PETALING JAYA: Sisters In Islam (SIS) has called on the government and all public institutions to re-educate their personnel in order to prevent cases on unwarranted dress code enforcement.
In a press statement on Thursday, SIS communications officer Aliah Ali said the group was disgusted over the discrimination, and concerned that the policing of women’s attire could make Malaysia even more conservative.
