RANAU: The Lahad Datu district is another possible hotspot for seismic activity, Malaysian Meteorological Department director-general Datuk Che Gayah Ismail said.
She said the authorities should be prepared in dealing with a possible earthquake there, noting that the earthquake which shook Lahad Datu in 1976 registered a magnitude of 5.8.
