KUALA LUMPUR: Four new senators were sworn into Dewan Negara and another was reappointed.

The four who took their oath of office for the first time included Perak PKR information chief Siti Aishah Shaik Ismail and Hilir Darat Batu Rakit Umno branch chief Datuk Abdul Rahman Mat Yasin.
