Average rate of unemployed M’sians at 3%


KOTA BARU: The average annual unemployment rate in Malaysia from 2011 until 2014 was at 3%.

Describing the employment situation in the first four years of 10th Malaysia Plan (2011-2015), Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Abdul Wahid Omar said although Malaysia has more than 400,000 people looking for jobs at any given time, the government had set a target that 75% of graduates would find employment within six months of graduation.
