Foreigner-operated ‘roti canai’ factory raided over unlicensed wheat flour

JOHOR BARU: The aroma of freshly heated roti canai was unmistakable but the food processing factory appeared to be hiding a “stinking” secret.

Johor Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Ministry seized more than five tonnes of wheat flour from the factory at an industrial area here just as 30 foreign workers were busy heating up the roti canai and packaging them for sale.
