KUALA LUMPUR: Amendments to existing laws on Internet usage will be tabled in October to better govern social media usage, said Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek.
The Communications and Multimedia Minister was replying to a question from Gooi Hsiao Leung (DAP-Alor Setar) at the Dewan Rakyat here Monday, said the amendments would affect the Communications and Multimedia Act (CMA) 1998 and Communications and Multimedia Commission Act (CMCA) 1998.
