PETALING JAYA: 1Malaysia Development Berhad suffered losses of over half a billion ringgit for the “first time in its history” on March 31 last year.
Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Mohamad Hanadzlah revealed this while discussing the RM18bil purchase of independent power plants by the government investment arm on Radio Televisyen Malaysia’s (RTM) Dialog programme on Wednesday.
