Lorry driver pleads guilty to causing death of five in family

KUALA TERENGGANU: A lorry driver has pleaded guilty to causing the death of five family members after he rammed his 10-tonne lorry into their car.

Fazly Othman, 35, was driving the lorry near the 386th kilometre stretch of the East Coast Highway 2 heading to Dungun last Sunday at about 4.30pm when he crashed into them. The car burst into flames after being dragged by the lorry for about 70m.
