KUALA LUMPUR: A smouldering cigarette butt could have sparked the fire that led to the death of an 88-year-old man.
Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Muhammad Azlee Abdullah said the charred remains of Datuk Dr Muhamad Ali Mahfuz Ali were found in the living room of his house in Taman Tun Dr Ismail at about 1.30am yesterday.
