PUTRAJAYA: A former police constable will serve three years in prison after his final appeal against conviction for causing hurt to a detainee was dismissed.
Court of Appeal president Justice Md Raus Sharif said the court did not find any appealable error by the High Court to disturb the Sessions Court decision to convict V. Navindran, 35, on two alternative charges of causing hurt to A. Kugan, a suspect in a luxury car theft.
