PETALING JAYA: A number of flights in and out of Tawau airport were cancelled on Wednesday due to problems with the airport’s landing equipment.

In a Facebook post, Sri Tanjong assemblyman Chan Foong Hin alleged that the airport could not handle flight departures and arrivals due to technical problems of runway light and urged people not to spread rumours of a terrorist invasion in Tawau.
