THE Finance Ministry has defended a proposal to remove a Bank Negara Malaysia representative from the Retirement Fund Inc (KWAP) board, citing conflict of interest.
Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Chua Tee Yong said BNM had voluntarily requested for its representative to be removed from the investment board of KWAP.
