Six conned into paying RM130,000 in ‘ransom’


SIX women in Taiping were conned out of RM130,000 after they paid “ransom”, thinking that their children were in danger, reported Guang Ming Daily.

The women received calls from a stranger, claiming that their children were in trouble, either for being involved in vice activities or had been kidnapped.
