KOTA KINABALU: The freeze on over 1,600 accounts belonging businesses and individuals for suspected illicit activities by the Malaysian Anti Corruption Agency (MACC) will cause serious repercussions to the state's economy if investigations are not completed promptly.
Special Affairs Minister Datuk Teo Chee Kang said that the MACC should hasten their investigations so the operations of innocent companies and parties are not affected.
