GEORGE TOWN: Works to deepen and widen a stretch of Sungai Pinang in George Town under the Sungai Pinang Phase II flood mitigation project will start once the remaining five affected residents are resettled.
Penang Housing, Town and Country Planning Committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo said it was only a matter of time for the works to begin as the resettlement of the residents was in its final stages.
