GEORGE TOWN: It is still uncertain whether the Penang Island City Council (MBPP) will increase the fine for motorists who park their vehicles on pavements from next month.
MBPP Enforcement and Public Education Committee alternate chairman Dr Tan Kim Hooi said the council was carrying out a public education phase until the end of the month during which offenders would be given warnings.
