Sandakan kidnap: Philippine authorities fully committed to search


PETALING JAYA: The Philippine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur is hopeful that latest kidnapping incident in Sandakan will be resolved at the earliest opportunity.

On Thursday, four gunmen in camouflage uniforms armed with a M.16 rifle and pistol entered Ocean King Restaurant at Jalan Batu Sapi in Sandakan and abducted manager Thien Nyuk Fun, 50 and Sarawakian tourist Bernard Then Ted Fen, 38 before fleeing towards open sea.
