KUALA LUMPUR: Police have begun an internal enquiry into the alleged rape threat made against a female detainee by an officer at the Dang Wangi police station early this month.
Kuala Lumpur CID chief Senior Asst Comm Zainuddin Ahmad said police were investigating the claim under the Police Act and the Criminal Procedure Code, promising that action would be taken if the claims by Maisara Amira Mohamad Asmadi were true.
