Estate owner killed, driver seriously injured in Lahad Datu robbery


KOTA KINABALU: An oil palm estate owner was killed and his driver seriously injured when they were attacked and robbed by masked men at his estate in Lahad Datu district on Friday.

Lahad Datu police chief Asst Comm Hamzah Ahmad said the estate owner and his driver, who is also a relative, had just arrived at his house in the estate at about 1.20pm on Friday when they were pounced upon by three masked men armed with knives.
