Over 470 to set up base at media centre for royal event


IPOH: More than 470 media personnel from 45 agencies will set up base in Kuala Kangsar to cover the enthronement ceremony of the 35th Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, and related events from Sunday to May 17. The media base will be at the multi-purpose hall of Kolej Universiti Islam Sultan Azlan Shah.

Perak Information Department director Muhamad Aszahari Abdul Rahman said preparations at the media centre, located about 2km from Istana Iskandariah, were 95% complete.
