CCM: Churches must abide by local council rules

PETALING JAYA: Churches must abide by the rules and regulations of local councils, said the Council of Churches of Malaysia (CCM) on Tuesday.

"Churches are free to establish themselves, and our advice as the Council is to abide by the regulations and conditions set by local councils - if they don't, they have to answer for themselves," CCM secretary-general Reverend Dr Hermen Shastri (pix) told The Star Online.
