Preserve and protect Federal Constitution, leaders told

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian leaders must act immediately, intentionally, decisively and authoritatively before irretrievable damage is done to the country, said a group of 40 Malaysians.

“Let our leaders, be they from the legislative, executive or judicial arms of governance with the undivided support of all patriotic Malaysians, uphold their oath of office to preserve, protect and defend our Constitution,” they said in an open letter calling for a strengthening of the foundational structure of Malaysia.
