PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Bar, the Advocates' Association of Sarawak and the Sabah Law Association has urged the Government to desist from pursuing the amendments in the Dewan Negara, and to instead keep its promise to repeal the Sedition Act 1948.
In a joint press release issued on Friday, the three bodies stated that they were 'appalled' by the amendments to the Act passed on Apr 10.
