Two new TB cases detected at matriculation college in Tangkak

JOHOR BARU: Two new cases of tuberculosis have been discovered among the students of a Tangkak matriculation college where an outbreak of the bacterial disease was found recently.

Johor Health and Environment Committee chairman Datuk Ayub Rahmat said the Health Department found another two students who had contracted the disease since the first case was discovered on March 18. The first case led to an outbreak among four others, who were the victim’s close friends and dormitory mates.
