Cheaper rates for Internet broadband soon

PUTRAJAYA: Mobile service providers have agreed to slash the price of basic broadband Internet package to only RM25 a month for 1GB mobile data plan.

The cheaper rate is expected to take effect in the next one or two months, announced Communication and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek yesterday.

Billed as RM 96.20 for the 1st year, RM 148 thereafter.
