PETALING JAYA: PAS and PKR will assist each other in the Rompin and Permatang Pauh parliamentary by-elections while their Pakatan Rakyat partner DAP will have only “minimal presence” in Rompin as it focuses on Permatang Pauh.

PAS vice-president Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said his party would be helping out PKR in Permatang Pauh “in the spirit of Pakatan brotherhood”, even though they would be facing a battle in Rompin themselves.
