TEMERLOH: Some 26 million cubic metres of sand will be dug out from rivers in Pahang as part of a long-term flood-mitigation measure.
The task will be undertaken by a private firm - Gegaran Alam Sdn Bhd - at a cost of nearly RM600mil using Chinese technology dredges.
