PUTRAJAYA: Voting for the Rompin parliamentary by-election will be held on May 5.

The nomination day for the by-election has been fixed for April 22, Election Commission chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof announced Friday.

Early voting will be held on April 30.

The by-election follows the sudden demise of Tan Sri Dr Jamaluddin Jarjis in a helicopter crash on April 4.
