Cops, Armed Forces probe involvement of civil servants in militancy


KUALA LUMPUR: Police are working closely with the Armed Forces to investigate any suspected involvement of military personnel with the Islamic State (IS), said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar.  

Referring to the two Armed Forces personnel detained with 15 other suspected militants during a raid recently, Khalid said police were also monitoring other members of the group that had arrived home from Syria and those that were still in Malaysia.
