Permata Negara being studied

A study is being conducted on the effectiveness of the Permata Negara programme in educating young children, with its results to be tabled in the next Parliamentary session.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim said the study was being carried out to compare the project’s benefits with other early childhood care education programmes to a question from Datuk Noraini Ahmad (BN–Parit Sulong) on whether the programme had been compared with those conducted in other early education centres in Malaysia.
