Gaming accused staring at huge fines


GEORGE TOWN: A man has been charged in a magistrate’s court here with dealing in 90 gambling machines - an offence which could see him fined from RM900,000 to RM9mil, if convicted.

Chan Soo Guan, 43, claimed trial to committing the offence at a premises in Madras Lane here at 11pm on Jan 31.
