THE issues highlighted in the Auditor-General’s report this time do not involve large amount of funds, but they concern ministries and agencies which have not been called up by the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) previously.
“It gives us the opportunity to check on these less popular ministries and inform the public of their activities,” PAC chairman Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed told reporters after a meeting with Auditor-General Tan Sri Ambrin Buang yesterday.
