KOTA KINABALU: A poverty eradication initiative through the Saham Sabah Bhd (SSB) had failed to achieve its aim due to the various problems affecting the state-owned unit trust, highlighted in the 2014 Auditor-General’s report.
In its performance of the Sabah Finance Ministry, the report in on SSB that was now required to pay Bank Negara some RM40mil in 10 instalments over the failed scheme.
