Jamaluddin Jarjis contributed to boosting US-Malaysia ties, says envoy


Jamaluddin Jarjis and US President Barack Obama at the Oval Office after the former was presented his credentials as Malaysia's ambassador in 2009.

PETALING JAYA: The strengthening of bilateral relationship between the United States and Malaysia was due in a large part to the work of the late Rompin MP Tan Sri Dr Jamaluddin Jarjis, said the US Ambassador to Malaysia John Yun. 

"Jamaluddin was tirelessly dedicated to advancing Malaysia's interests by enhancing relations with the United States.
