Semenyih crash: Kpl Rakzan's remains flown to Tuaran

Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jalaluddin Abdul Rahman and senior officers were at the airport to receive the body before its was transferred into a RMAF Eurocopter EC725 and flown to Tuaran about 40kms from here.

Teary eyed Setinurafeni,30, was seen carrying her two-year-old son, Ahmad Qais, while another family member helped to carry six-year-old daughter Nur Aqilah Darwisyah.

Rakzan, a Special Action Force commando assigned to guard Rompin MP Tan Sri Jamaluddin Jarjis, was among six people killed in the helicopter crash on Saturday.

Initially Rakzan’s family had intended for him to be buried at their ancestral Torong Sangag Muslim Cemetry in Penimbawang near Kg Saradan in Tenghilan in Tuaran.

Jalaluddin said on the request of the wife, Rakzan would be buried at a cemetery in kg Sungai Damit in Tuaran tonight.

He said Bukit Aman would take necessary steps to assist Rakzan’s family.

Kpl Rakzan was in the helicopter with Jamaluddin, the Prime Minister's principal private secretary, Datuk Azlin Alias, businessman Datuk Robert Tan, pilot Capt Clifford Fournier; company assistant Aidiana Baizieva that crashed in Semenyih, just minutes away from Subang on Saturday.
