KUALA LUMPUR: The Home Ministry is optimistic that the proposed Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA), which will be debated in the Dewan Rakyat on Monday, will meet little resistance from the opposition parties.
Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said he was confident the Bill, which is based on the Prevention of Crime Act (POCA), would see less objection from various parties.
